Seventy-four faculty members are dedicated to educating over 1,800 undergraduate, graduate students and postdocs, and to maintaining and developing world-class research programs. Its signature research areas include Bioengineering, Nanotechnology and Heat/Mass Transfer. Faculty members in Bioengineering and Nanotechnology research areas are actively participated in NCI-designated Purdue Center for Cancer Research. In particular, through the Center’s Drug Delivery and Molecular Sensing Program, innovative engineering and technology solutions are developed for both basic and translational cancer research.
